What you choose to share.
The website has no contact form. You may voluntarily contact us by email, telephone, WhatsApp, Instagram or Facebook.
Depending on what you send, we may receive your name, email address or telephone number, company, website, project or partnership information, timeline or budget information, and the content of your message and correspondence.
Purposes
Why we use the information.
We use information to respond to enquiries, understand proposed work, prepare quotations or take requested pre-contractual steps, assess potential business or partner relationships, manage business communications, meet legal or accounting obligations where applicable, and establish, exercise or defend legal claims where necessary.
Lawful basis
The basis depends on the enquiry.
Where an individual asks Great White Studio to take steps towards a contract with that individual personally, Article 6(1)(b) UK GDPR may apply.
For general business enquiries, partner enquiries and communications made by a person on behalf of a company or organisation, we rely on our legitimate interests in responding to people who contact the studio and managing expected business communications.
Where records must be processed to comply with a legal obligation, Article 6(1)(c) UK GDPR may apply.
Retention
We keep information only while it is needed.
We keep enquiry correspondence only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, assess potential work, manage any resulting relationship, meet applicable legal or accounting obligations, and establish, exercise or defend legal claims. Information that is no longer required is reviewed and deleted.
Where an enquiry becomes a client relationship, relevant contract, accounting and financial records may need to be retained for applicable statutory periods.
Your rights
Data-protection rights may apply.
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access your personal information, correct inaccurate information, request erasure or restriction, and receive portable information where data portability applies. Where processing relies on legitimate interests, you may have the right to object.

Communication platforms
External services have their own privacy terms.
If you choose to contact Great White Studio through WhatsApp, Instagram or Facebook, that platform also processes your use of its service under its own privacy terms.
Website providers
Hosting and fonts support the website.
Netlify provides website hosting and may process normal server-request information needed to serve and secure the website.
The site retrieves typography resources from Fontshare. When your browser requests those resources, the external font service may receive normal request information such as your IP address and request metadata.
Cookies and tracking
No analytics, advertising pixels or non-essential cookies.
We do not currently use analytics, advertising pixels or non-essential cookies on this website. The website has no CRM integration, automated profiling or automated decision-making.
If this changes, this notice will be updated and consent obtained where required.

Questions or concerns can be sent to hello@greatwhitestudio.com. You can also complain directly to the Information Commissioner’s Office; you do not have to complain to Great White Studio first.
